The work on my angel project continues. I am presently naming each angel as well as having that angel represent a characteristic that describes my friends. I thought I’d start by posting each angel here as she is given her name that matches her corresponding characteristic.
This continues to be a long process, because I wait until it comes to me which angel to work on next, what characteristic she represents, and what name fits her perfectly. It’s been joyful for me to see how I am lead. And it is certainly challenging for me to wait to be guided instead of taking charge myself.
Meet Ramel. She represents the joy a friend brings into our lives. Joy is not something we can acquire. We find it within ourselves. A friend helps us in this discovery. Over a lifetime, I have found my friends are a constant inspiration to tap into this emotion. The sound of their laughter, the sharing of so many simple pleasures together, even writing this brings joy to me as my memory is flooded with moments I have shared with beloved friends. Joy is energizing, creative, even transformative. And so it is, with friends.
